The Coaptive Therapy Specialists
Brookwood Psychotherapy Associates provides individual counseling, marital and premarital counseling, and family therapy from a Christian perspective. Dr. David Lane and Dr. Donna E. Lane founded Brookwood P.A. in 1993. Both have Ph.D.'s, David in marriage and family therapy and Donna in counseling. David is licensed as a marriage and family therapist and as a professional counselor. Donna is licensed as a Christian counselor and therapist. They specialize in seeing couples together, using the approach they developed called Coaptive Therapy.

Location
Our offices are located in Lilburn, Georgia, a suburb of metropolitan Atlanta. We are easily accessible from I-85 northeast of the city of Atlanta, from Hwy. 78 (Stone Mountain Freeway), or from Ronald Reagan Parkway in Gwinnett County. Since we are in a primarily-residential community, we offer a tranquil setting away from the noise and traffic of downtown, which is conducive to the work we do together.

We Want to Hear from You
For more information, to speak with either Dr. Lane, or to schedule an appointment, you may call us at (770) 985-6011, or e-mail us.

Partners Together in Healing
The word "coapt" means to bind together for healing, as in suturing a wound. That is the foundation for Coaptive Therapy: the binding together of the couple as partners in their own healing. Through prayer, the brokenhearted are bound up, and the couple who are captives to their wounds are set free through the truth from Jesus Christ.

To Bind Up the Brokenhearted, to Proclaim Freedom for the Captives and Release from Darkness for the Prisoners
Isaiah 61: the foundation of our counseling approach.
