Dr. David Lane and Dr. Donna Lane have been successfully married for over 23 years. We have three children, ranging in age from 19 to 12. We believe this experience in creating an effective marriage and family, plus our education and combined over 40 years counseling experience, and our Coaptive Therapy approach which we developed together, all provide for our clients a unique blend of qualities which facilitate the counseling process.

Award-Winning Authors
The Lanes, along with Dr. Greg Brigman, wrote and developed a complete early learning educational package entitled "Ready to Learn." The kit includes a set of five children's stories, audio tapes, posters and a puppet, and is designed to teach specific learning and social skills to preschool and elementary age children. Our research on this project, published in the Journal of Educational Research, was chosen to receive the Harold E. Mitzel Award for Meritorious Contribution to Educational Practice through Research in the year 2000. Professor Lane
Dr. David Lane is also an Associate Professor at Mercer University in Atlanta, and Director of the Graduate program in Counseling, which he developed and implemented at Mercer University in Atlanta.
